Report on ABC News radio that McCain has shed his connection to Bush in the eyes of the public in terms of how he'd lead the country. Now just 49% say he will take the country in the same direction as Bush, while 48% say he will go in his own direction. It did not say what the results were in previous polls, but was reported as a definite improvement for McCain on this issue.
