When Bill O'Reilly interviewed Sen. Obama, Obama said that he wanted to return the top tax rate to the CLINTON years, which was 39.5%. xNow, Joe Biden and Obama say that Obama wants to return the top tax rate to the REAGAN years, which was 28%. He says one thing to one group, another thing to another group. He initially said that he wanted to give a tax cut to 95% of Americans, and increase federal income taxes for those making over $250,000 a year. But when this was exposed as being a lie - since over 40% of Americans pays no federal income tax - then Obama shifted his rhetoric to saying that he would give a tax cut to 95% of Americans WHO PAY FEDERAL INCOME TAXES....
