Democrats have sent 30 lawyers...to Alaska dig DIRT on Palin!

Democrats have “airdropped” an army of 30 attorneys, investigators and opposition researchers into Alaska to dig into Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin’s record and background, The Wall Street Journal’s John Fund reports. They are being deployed in Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and Palin’s hometown, Wasilla. The main area of interest for what Fund calls the “Democratic SWAT team” is Palin’s firing in July of her public safety commissioner. She maintains he was fired for cause, but her critics charge that he was axed because he wouldn’t be pressured into firing a state trooper, Mike Wooten, who had been embroiled in a rancorous divorce battle with Palin’s sister. Wooten served a five-day suspension after the Palin family filed a complaint claiming he had threatened Palin’s father, according to Fund. They also reportedly accused him of using a Taser on his 10-year-old stepson, drinking in his patrol car and illegally shooting a moose. RK Comment: This campaign is going to turn very UGLY and VICIOUS shortly, as it kicks into high gear of "character assassination" or "win at any price" mode.
