In a stunning development, Ahmadinejad endorsed Obama this week. As the Boston Globe reported on Wednesday.

I thought they usually issue a fatwa death sentence against someone that turns against Islam like allegedly Obama did. Unless Obama faked being converted to LIBERAL Christianity. did he?

Are you kidding me? Obama has now been endorsed by Ahmadinejad, Hamas and Farrakhan. Obviously, Obama cannot control who endorses him. Nevertheless, the fact that the world's most prominent Jew haters prefer Obama is certainly indicative of whether Obama will be "good for the Jews."

How can this willful blindness of American Jews be explained? I know there is a long history of Jewish identification with the Democratic Party, but that argument proves too much. After all, Reagan received nearly 40% of the Jewish vote in 1980. Fast forward to 2008 and McCain -- an extremely pro-Israel candidate -- cannot dream of getting 40% of the Jewish vote. Incredibly, Jews support Obama, the candidate who favors unconditional negotiations with Ahmadinejad, a Holocaust-denier who has openly stated his intention to "wipe Israel off the map."

I have posted several comments here about the long rumored drop out, as Biden has NOT helped, but maybe hurt the Dem. ticket. He is supposed to claim due to health reasons.

The 61-year-old had surgery ten years ago for two brain aneurysms and could leave the race after the VP debates take place on October 2, leaving the position open for Mrs Clinton to step up.

Pundits say the huge media interest surrounding John McCain's selection of Sarah Palin has prompted a rethink in the Democratic camp.

The Obama campaign's official website 'Fight the Smears' - set up to suppress any damaging internet rumors - has not addressed the latest reports, fueled speculation that there may be some truth in the rumor.

The only statement Obama's camp have released is to say that Biden's medical records will be released shortly.

Biden has been responsible for a number of gaffes in the last two weeks, including admitting his own ad campaign was 'terrible' in a CBS news interview and at one stage even acknowledged that Hillary Clinton may have been a safer bet for Obama's vice president position. I commented that that's SUSPICIOUS, given no VP ever criticized the Presidential candidate's ad like this!

However Democratic supporters have dismissed claims that Biden may drop out.

Democratic strategist Bob Beckel said: "It's crazy...it's just not going to happen."

Christopher Hull, presidential scholar at Georgetown University in Washington DC said: “Joe Biden is not that big a liability. Joe Biden was arguably the most experienced candidate in the [Democratic primary] race.”

Obama has stood firm on his decision to install Biden as his number two, telling NBC's Today Show on Tuesday this week: 'Joe Biden is also an outstanding public servant and I am very proud of the choice that I made.' He added that he's a 'great admirer of Senator Clinton's' and hopes she will remain 'a close adviser'.

My instinct is right. Now McCain has just announced that he will be at the debate. This is the statement his camp put out:

John McCain's decision to suspend his campaign was made in the hopes that politics could be set aside to address our economic crisis.

In response, Americans saw a familiar spectacle in Washington. At a moment of crisis that threatened the economic security of American families, Washington played the blame game rather than work together to find a solution that would avert a collapse of financial markets without squandering hundreds of billions of taxpayers' money to bailout bankers and brokers who bet their fortunes on unsafe lending practices.

Both parties in both houses of Congress and the administration needed to come together to find a solution that would deserve the trust of the American people. And while there were attempts to do that, much of yesterday was spent fighting over who would get the credit for a deal and who would get the blame for failure. There was no deal or offer yesterday that had a majority of support in Congress. There was no deal yesterday that included adequate protections for the taxpayers. It is not enough to cut deals behind closed doors and then try to force it on the rest of Congress -- especially when it amounts to thousands of dollars for every American family.

The difference between Barack Obama and John McCain was apparent during the White House meeting yesterday where Barack Obama's priority was political posturing in his opening monologue defending the package as it stands. John McCain listened to all sides so he could help focus the debate on finding a bipartisan resolution that is in the interest of taxpayers and homeowners. The Democratic interests stood together in opposition to an agreement that would accommodate additional taxpayer protections.

Senator McCain has spent the morning talking to members of the Administration, members of the Senate, and members of the House. He is optimistic that there has been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations, including Representative Blunt as a designated negotiator for House Republicans. The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the Senator will travel to the debate this afternoon. Following the debate, he will return to Washington to ensure that all voices and interests are represented in the final agreement, especially those of taxpayers and homeowners.

I think mcCain will still have an edge even though he would have less time preparing as he flew to DC and here's why?

Both , no doubt had 20 handlers practicing & rehearsing with the candidate.
Obama, though with a quicker , younger mind is well-known to stutter with,"Ah's" after every few sentences. He would flunk the toastmaster! He is not great without a teleprompter.
McCain is frankly kind of dry & boring in his speech, but at least does not stutter like Obama. I expect the questions asked Obama will not be too tough. Someone will ask him of his health & age.

Obama would have a tougher time handling questions on hypothetical terrorist attacks, Iran, whether he will negotiate with terrorists.
McCain will have a harder time in justifying the Iraq war, being an unpopular war with most Americans. He will have an advantage if they asked about the success of the surge.
If I were McCain, I would hammer the fact that the terrorist nations, Lybia, Syria, et. are cheering for Obama, who are they more AFRAID of?
McCain need to be MORE aggressive & be in control, and add a sense of humor, like Reagan. He is no Reagan, when it comes to communication skills.

I expect Obama to do a better job in closing statement since he could MEMORIZE that part.

Gov. Palin needs much work to polish her skills at answering questions. From my experience, it can be very stressful not knowing what questions they might throw at you.

Slow Down The Negotiation, Show Up at the Debate

I said in my radio program last night that I am glad that the rescue package is stalled. That means there are issues that have to be worked out. And the word is that conservative Republicans are opposing some parts of the package, and there is even an alternative proposal from the House Republicans which McCain supports. All of these negotiations and compromises are healthy, because they will ensure that the package will be well-crafted. Despite the dire situation, Congress should spend a bit of time to get it right.

As much as I don't like the idea of government bail-outs, this rescue package is probably inevitable. Watching the biggest bank failure unfold right before our eyes is discomfiting. This economy is sick, and the whole financial oversight system needs overhauling.

So I ask myself whether I trust Obama to take over in a this complicated and risky environment, or do I trust an old-hand that has shown that he can reach across the aisle to get things done. The common wisdom is the economic crisis favors Obama. I think independent voters will continue to move into the McCain camp, thus resulting in a McCain/Palin victory.

I expect there will be sufficient progress in the negotiation today that McCain is going to announce that he will join the debate tonight. But the focus will inevitably shift to economic issues even though it may open up with foreign policy issues. Regardless of what happens to the negotiation, I do not think McCain should let Obama turn the debate into a townhall meeting for himself.

McCain needs to come off presidential, in-command, clear and insightful tonight. Even though he is not an orator, he does well in debates as he presents thoughts and ideas in a clear and smooth fashion. On the other hand, Um-bama is not a good debater and ad-hoc speaker. He will come off tentative and lacking in experience. The first debate is usually very crucial so McCain should show up and outshine Obama.

The Debate will HAVE to CANCEL if McCain does not show up

Under the original bailout proposal, apparently, a large portion of any repayment of the $700 billion would go to Barack Obama’s leftist friends at ACORN with a smaller allocation to debt repayment.

Now nice Anti-Pumas, please admit that the Senator has been selling snake oil and you have been buying it. I said he was probably born with Dual Citizenship under the 1948 Act at the outset, and I wasn’t wrong. Likewise, I wasn’t wrong about the Kenyan Constitution and his Kenyan Citizenship. Don’t take any bets that I’m wrong about Indonesia. Or the US Constitution and what it means.

Please note that I, once again, state that I, personally, believe Obama was born in Hawaii and that it doesn’t affect my opinion on his Eligibility for the Office of POTUS at all. In my understanding Article II Requires that one be a “Natural Born Citizen”, and in terms of the Law as understood by the Framers, anyone with Dual Citizenship could not be “Natural Born”. It does not matter that they no longer hold that Citizenship, they fall into the same bracket as a “Naturalized Citizen” because they have/had Divided Allegiance. That is my view and I haven’t moved an inch on it.

However, the Kenyan Citizenship Issue may not be the main point here, WAS HE, OR WAS HE NOT, an INDONESIAN CITIZEN? The Senator isn’t saying, isn’t mentioning it, is trying to avoid producing any Paperwork at all. Why? If he is/was an Indonesian Citizen, too, the Senator’s entire narrative is a fiction and he should be ashamed of himself.

He’s lied about Kenya, at least by omission, for months/years, so why should I assume he isn’t lying about Indonesia? Note Kenyan Citizenship automatically lapses if it isn’t renewed at age 21, Indonesian Citizenship doesn’t. If he was an Indonesian Citizen he would have to actively repudiate that Citizenship. Did he? Has he? Because if he hasn’t, Senator Obama is Dual National Indonesian at this moment, subject to the Laws of BOTH Countries, equally.

That is true under US Law, Indonesian Law and International Law and until LAST YEAR Indonesia DID NOT Recognize Dual Citizenship and the USA did not Recognize that one could be a Dual US/Indonesian Citizen. It does not matter that the Senator was not Responsible for the change of Citizenship because he was a child when it happened. Governor Schwarzenegger was not Responsible for the fact that he was born in Austria, or that under Austrian Law he is not a US Citizen, or under the US Law and Rules he is not a Citizen of Austria.

Senator Obama needs to produce his Paperwork, all of it, not just a Certification of Live Birth from the State of Hawaii, but all his other Paperwork too.

So, the Senator WAS a Dual National. That is now an admitted fact, admitted by his own Campaign and by Annenberg. The Senator is a Constitutional Lawyer which means that he knows, and has always known, that he is probably Ineligible to Hold the Office of POTUS, or that, at the very least, there is a strong Legal Argument that that is the case. In turn, that means that as he lied about his Kenyan and British Citizenships he is probably lying about his Indonesian Citizenship.

BTW, didn't JP Morgan just took over WaMu today, when JP Morgan is knee deep in Derivative time bomb itself.

New data and analysis demonstrate that the proposal before Congress for a $700 billion financial industry bailout is too little, too late to end the massive U.S. debt crisis; and, at the same time, too much, too soon for the U.S. Government bond market where most of the funds would have to be raised.
Their figures and opinions in this white paper should be considered seriously.

This is the mother of all financial crises.

if you listen to Glenn Beck, but he believes Congress has no intention of solving our problem with the bailout, he just thinks they are trying to make sure that the inevitable crash happens slowly instead of quickly.

I agree with Glenn Beck's analysis, but as Weiss & Larson point out...

This bill, approaching $1 trillion, is so extreme, it is undeniable that

1. It could double or triple the federal deficit in a very short period of time.
2. Such a dramatic increase in the deficit would drive up the cost of borrowing not only for the U.S. Treasury, but also for other bonds and for millions of Americans seeking a mortgage or other credit, since Treasury yields are the benchmarks against which most borrowing is based.
3. To the degree that the Federal Reserve purchases U.S. government securities for its own account to help support bond prices, it would devalue the U.S. dollar, risking a dollar collapse and the flight of much-needed foreign capital from the U.S.
4. Ultimately, either of these outcomes — sharply higher U.S. interest rates or a U.S. dollar collapse — could seriously aggravate the very debt crisis that the bailout plan seeks to address.

McCain's great Come back- looks Presidential

After John McCain's bold (though risky) decision to suspend his campaign, he has stunningly erased a three-point lead and now is tied with Obama at 46-46 in Thursday's Gallup Poll.

The poll included interviews taken on Wednesday -- when McCain said he would fly to Washington to work on the bailout bill, suspend his presidential quest and possibly not appear at Friday's scheduled debate.

Those were bold decisions, and maybe Americans appreciated them as Presidential.

On the other hand, the Gallup pollsters point out that McCain has been gaining on Obama for days.

Obama is not appearing presidential to enough Americans in this time of financial crisis.
Meanwhile, the Republicans refuse to sign on the Bailout. At one point, the Treasury Secretary literally got on one knee as if begging Pelosi to don't let the deal blow up.
Bush is stunned, as he thought he could bring the 2 sides together.

It was an early landing due to a pending snowstorm. And Biden talked about his blue-collar upbringing . That's aan urban legend! He's not from a working-class background!

Biden has been saying for years that the truck driver who killed his wife in an accident was drunk. He was NOT!

Alcohol didn't play a role in the 1972 crash, investigators found.

The senator's statements don't jibe with news and law enforcement reports from the time, which cleared driver Curtis C. Dunn, who died in 1999, of wrongdoing.


Why make it more hideous for the poor guy and his family by saying he was drunk? Where is ONE, just ONE reporter with enough courage to ask Biden that question?

So, just who is this mysterious Frank, who so deeply influenced the life of Barack Obama?

Kincaid also cites evidence that Davis was a sex pervert and pornographer.

One document refers to Frank Marshall Davis having CPUSA affiliations dating back to 1931. Kincaid also has evidence showing that Davis was involved in communist activities in the 1970s, during the time he mentored Obama. Davis was included in the FBI’s security index, Kincaid notes, meaning that Davis could be arrested or detained in the event of a national emergency. The FBI material documents Davis’s anti-white and pro-Soviet views, infiltration of the Hawaii Democratic Party, and other activities.

Former FBI agent and popular talk show host G. Gordon Liddy said about Frank Marshall Davis, “Only very dangerous people were on the FBI security index, people who were on the side of an enemy and not on the side of the United States.”

Ironically, Obama who would admittedly attend socialist conferences and pick Marxist professors as his friends, never had to undergo an FBI background check and, should he become President, will be in charge of overseeing the FBI!

In a revelation tying Obama even closer to radical community, WND has learned that a renowned disciple of the late socialist agitator Saul "The Red" Alinksy wrote a letter of recommendation for Obama when he applied to Harvard Law School.

Obama approached Northwestern University professor John L. McKnight – a loyal student of Alinsky's radical tactics – to pen the Harvard letter in the late 1980s. McKnight serves on the boards of radically anti-American groups in Chicago.

Obama in his 2006 memoir alludes to McKnight – whom he describes as an "older man..."but stops short of identifying him by name. He referred to him only as "my friend."
