i don't understand what it means to be a christian when you are judging others because you do not agree with their ways. What makes you think your beliefs and ways are better than anyone else in this world?

one peace, one world

i agree with anonymous above.

Essentially what you have taken an index of equality and tried to turn it into something negative. Doesn't your religion teach acceptance? While you're at it, why not just make a list of companies that employ blacks and jews so you can avoid those too.

Thank you. I will be sure to patronize thank each of these companies for their support of gay rights. I will also be sure to let them know that I am a Christian and a lesbian. This is useful information.

This is a perfect example of dogmatic spew... These companies not only power the economy, but represent mainstream america in an open minded and tolerant fashion. Also, is there a list of "approved" companies with workforces made up of exclusively christian conservatives?

It's time to put a stop to this nonsense..

You give Christians a bad name... not to mention you're a complete idiot.

Thank you for this list. I will SUPPORT the companies on this list with all of my (high) income.

The Christian Right is Neither. Christian Conservatives are actually doing the devils work. They spread hatred and vile in the name of the Lord. They find ways to divide and push evil through discrimination toward fellow humans.
Really. Is this REALLY what God teaches you? Really? Shame. The Christian Conservatives are merely doing the devils work. They have no love. They preach no love. They are filled with vile and hatred.

So sad how angry you homosexuals get when your sponsors are avoided. You cannot repopulate and your propaganda will soon fade like the US dollar.

Blogger which is owned by Google is hosting this blog; you probably utilized a computer running Microsoft Windows or a computer manufactured by Apple. Guess your "boycott the planet" plan is going to have a few obstacles to overcome. Thanks for the list, I now know where to spend my money and help to continue supporting my LGBT brothers and sisters.

Isn't it ironic that gays can sling mud at companies that do not promote the gay agenda, but they expect everyone to support companies that do. Tolerance? I think not. It is not our beliefs that we are promoting. Those beliefs belong to God, and He is more important than the world.

A human said...

Thanks :D now i'll support these companies even more.
Btw, christians, you'll never erraise homosexuality. It's not something that you can "correct". Just grow up and open up your mind. These are modern times, and homophobia is not welcome :) respect other peoples' likings if you want others to respect your beliefs.
I would be ashamed to be you :l teaching kids and young people to hate others u.u And don't think God loves you for hating others. just sayin' e.e

It's funny that this blog states that is is a combination of "several christian's views," and yet only 2 of those christians were willing to comment. Both of which seem to think they speak for GOD. Not to mention that the list is a lie. Yes, some of these companies support gays, but, deutshe bank donated money to banned gay marriage. So get your facts "straight" because I would like a honest list so I can support the companies who support my homosexual family.

Thank you, this list was a big help! Now I can be sure to buy my books from Barnes and Noble and my hot chocolate from Starbucks. :) Also, good luck with your boycott. With all these gigantic companies you can't buy from anymore, you're gonna need it!

I'm a Christian. I was born to be attracted to other women who are not my wife. I was born this way. I can't help myself. Why can't my wife accept me for the way I am? I sympathize with gay people. Homosexuals, do you know of any companies that are pro-adulterer? I, too, would like to show my support for companies who endorse adultery.

Anonymous said...

Haha good luck avoiding all these bigots... you will not succeed :D

Anonymous said...

Read and avoid? More like read and go on a freakin shopping spree at jcpenny (maybe get some levi's and a rainbow shirt), buy a motorola phone, go to target and get some Pepsi and coke products and rainbow decorations. Then proceed to have a big gay-fabulous party.

You have problems

I'm going to make sure to SUPPORT all these companies from now on.

Christians need to stop being a so materialistic and get to boycotting these companies immediately. In the last few years it has gotten to be where gays are boycotting every company out there that doesn't do exactly as they demand, yet Christians have gone on patronizing companies that are hellbent on the annihilation of Christiany, and if we are honest about it Judaism and Islam as well. And this has spred to politics. Now the most important thing to the Democrats and even Republicans seems to be to push gay marriage and gay adoption even though a recent University of Texas study published in a respected scientific journal found that children fair far worse in these situations:
http://www.frc.org/issuebrief/new-study-on-homosexual-parents-tops-all-previous-research

God has done a lot for us Christians. We owe him everything we have. The least we can do is use the resources that he blessed us with to patronize companies that aren't going to use the money we give them to try to destroy Christianity and advocate policies that harm kids. There are way more Christians than gays, there is no excuse for not making our voices heard. The gays certainly are making their voices heard. Listen to any of their organizations and it's clear that they would have us sent to holocaust camps if they could.

One of the main lessons of the holocaust is that some things should never be tolerated. The Nazis should never have been allowed to defame Jews and others to a level where no one cared if they lived or died, and Christians can simply not tolerate the level of hatred and defamation that has occurred against us in the last 3 years. We cannot allow media, politics and the entire financial marketplace to make eliminating Christianity their new goal.

If we don't watch out there are going to be people that start go to churches and shooting people. In fact it's already happening and only ABC did cover it up:
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2012/08/15/only-abc-offers-full-story-shooting-frc-cbs-nbc-blow-it-tiny-reports&

Why wasn't this person charged with a hate crime, the Amish man that cut of the beards of other men was just given 15 years in prison for that?

It all starts with finances. If we give our enemies our money and they use it against us we are not funding a better world, but rather a world that hates us and hates God, and a world like that dosent struggle with ethics or what best for anyone, much less children, that kind of world just strives to bolster its own greed.

Thanks for posting this list. It is not too much to ask for us Christians to consult it and refuse to support companies that refuse to support us.

guys, all I've got to say is have fun in the stone age if you really are going to boycott these companies. Even just picking out a few here. 3M, the first one on the list makes a vast majority of all the equipment found in a hospital, including a little sub brand known by Tegaderm (standard wound dressing that's used for nearly everything from burns to post surgery closures.)
Next one I see is Cisco Systems. These guys make the infrastructure of this wonderful little thing called the internet. Oh, and they have a sub company that delivers food around the country so say goodby to buying food at a grocery store so you might have to think about moving near a farm.
Next up is Texas Instruments. I'm sure you just think these guys make calculators. In fact, you can pop open nearly any electronic device (mp3 players, CD players, remote controls, the thermostat to your own air conditioning) and find TI printed on at least one of the chips.
So the only way you could actually boycott all of these companies would be to go live out away from civilization or find yourself a nice Amish town to live in. But if you're really that dead set to hate companies that don't share your views more power to you because I'll stop seeing posts like this around the internet.

First off Let me just state here that i do not hate anyone. Gay straight bi,black, white,Jewish or whatever you are.I also do not care what religion you are. However what does matter is the fact that you are trying to breed more hate by making up your lies about how gay people should not be able to walk the earth.I happen to know many gay people and they are some of the best people i know. There is nothing wrong with loving the same sex love is love and who are you to judge how others should live their lives. If god were here he would tell you he is the only one who can judge. You certainly will not make it to heaven with all the hate you hold. Who are you to try to tell people how to live their lives.Really you guys should all be ashamed of yourselves. You call yourselves Christians. What a laugh. Instead of spending all your time breeding more hatred why don't you re read the holy bible and i am sure you will see one of the things god is against is hate. So basically you are all hypocrites.you make the good Christians look really bad.Such closed minded people. Open your eyes Learn to love not hate.i will end this statement By saying to everyone who reads this. Make sure to support these companies that these so called "CHRISTIANS " are saying to boycot. I know I will.

Thank you so much for gathering a list of such wonderful, supportive, anti bigot/anti hate and Pro Love, therefore Jesus approved stores.
It's so very convenient (not to mention wonderful and amazaballs,) to have a list of them all in one place - makes purchasing from those awesome companies so much easier.
And FTR, I can't wait to spend lots and lots of money supporting these amazing businesses!
Thanks again from the bottom of my Christian, Jewish & Episcopalian heart!
Toodles!

As a Christian, we are told to judge by Jesus himself. He tells Chrostians not to cast their pearls before swine, meaning that some sort of a judgment is required to define the 'swine' so you'll know whether or not you ought to 'cast' your pearls. Being a Christian doesnt mean we live by some code to never judge. This is a common misconception of our day. Christians are to bring the gospel to the nations, per Christ's command. This includes the condemning of what is evil, being defined by what God has revealed to man in the Bible.

Anonymous said...

Thanks! I will find better places to spend my money than pro-gay companies that push their agendas on the world! Marriage is between one man and one woman forever!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

As a Christian, I have to say I love everyone no matter what they believe. However, I don't support the gay way of living. We shouldn't support the changes gays want. I believe they should live their lives on their own, we should encourage but not push to change their view. They should not push so hard to change our views which is what bothers me so much.

I think the world will soon discriminate so that if you disagree with homosexual lifestyle, you will not be able to work. This already happened at Mozilla (look for Brendan Eich Resigns)and the momentum will increase. I believe this is a clear violation of our rights too.

I am not using Mozilla Firefox or and other Mozilla product anymore.

Jesus said to his disciples “This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.” Being a lesbian, gay, or pedophile is not a sin, but having sex outside of a traditional marriage (including relations between two unmarried straight people) is a sin, which diminishes one’s chances of making it to heaven. So when Christians oppose the LGTP/LGBT agenda it should be motivated by a desire to help these people turn away from sin so that they may spend eternity in paradise. That’s the primary mission of Christianity – to save souls.

Most people are unaware that faith-based adoption services have been forced to close in some states because they will only place children with traditional families (in the child's best interest, as a was supported by a link to a study above). I expect it won’t be long before our kids will have to leave the country if they want to be married by a minister or priest who remains faithful to the Bible.

Thank you for this list.I will not be doing business with these companies. I once thought I was "open minded" to this lifestyle. But seeing my gay and lesbian friends suffer and go through such pain and unhappiness, and them not understanding the balance of happiness that comes from sharing it with the other sex. I cannot support adding suffering to my friends.

Anonymous said...

I realize this stuff was posted forever ago but I think this is important. First of all, if you claim to be a Christian, boycott these places. Secondly, please, all of you tell me what you think a Christian is. Define it for me. Christian means Christ follower. Result means following His Word. His Word clearly says that homosexuality, being bisexual, and choosing to be a transgender is wrong. In Genesis it says He made them male and female. Men are meant to marry women and women to marry men, not to mention that whatever your birth certificate says, that's what gender you are. You may physically change yourself but your soul is still how you were created in the first placeDo you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
I Corinthians 6:9-10
And look at Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord destroyed those cities because of their adulterous, homosexual lifestyles. As Christians, we don't tell you these things because we hate you. We tell you because we as humans are all sinners in need of a Savior. Jesus, the Son of God, died in our place so that we done have to burn in he'll for eternity, which is what we deserve. He offers the gift of salvation, but since it's a gift we have to choose to accept it and that means dying to self to live for Christ. In other words, work to get rid of and stop your sinful passions and put all your effort into Christ and His kingdom. We do it out of love. Maybe not all of us, but most of us just want to tell you that you can be saved if you change. Study your Bibles. If you don't have one, buy one or borrow one.

It would be nice to have an updated list, but there should be some backup as to what these companies did to be categorized as pro-homosexual. With the pro-homosexual advertising showing up on TV these days, that makes it easy for us to see some companies to avoid. I just cancelled my membership with one company yesterday and it got me thinking about how many others I am unwittingly supporting. This is a long list though, and I question the legitimacy of it.

To all you angry pro-gay supporters who have come across this list, please know that most people who want to honor God with their lives and finances do not hate you back. If you are hearing hate, that person is not showing the love of God. But God created us, has given us lives to live for Him if we choose. There is great reward for those who choose Him. His guidelines for living a life of love, righteousness, and holiness are not only for His glory, but also for our ultimate joy and satisfaction because we find those in Him.

We only want others to experience this freedom and not waste their lives hating their Creator, the One who came to earth and suffered and died in their place just to pay for their sins and offer them freedom from the power of sin, and the One who will one day judge them for their sin if they reject that offer. True Christians should not hate anyone. We are just the only ones admitting we are sinners in need of a Saviour. The prideful and self-righteous were the prime targets of Jesus' criticism when He walked the earth. How would you describe yourself?

If you call yourself a Christian, examine your heart and your attitude toward the lost. If you hate God and His expectations of you, ask yourself how that can be rational. Your very breath and heartbeat are in His hands. He may give you days or years, but that is only His mercy in giving you time to repent. When we breathe our last, there is no longer any opportunity for that. He loves you so much, but that doesn't mean that he will ever endorse or excuse sin, and the Bible couldn't be more crystal clear that homosexuality is sin.

A boycott may not succeed, but at least we are honoring God with our spending. If it encourages companies to back away from actively promoting sin in our culture, all the better.

Is there an updated list of companies? The one above is about 11 years old. Thanks!!
